This morning at 6:40 am(Friday, 12/28/07), Kimberly lost her fight  with cancer. The day before, she had her treatment in Oceanside and came back home to find her new hospital bed waiting for her. She was so excited, she just looked at it and said "Oh my gosh !"  It had an adjustable head and foot , plus a therapeutic "gel" mattress.These were  paid for with the kind donations from  all of you who loved her .  She asked her mother to help her in the  the bed from her wheelchair. I will never forget the last time I saw Kimberly. She had the remote control for the bed in her hand and was adjusting the head and foot. Then she looked at her mom and said, I'm going to take a little nap now.  Before I left I peeked in at her, she was sound asleep with the remote still in her hand.  The next morning she passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was a beautiful soul that gave  brightness to whoever knew her. Always happy and positive. She told her mom,"I have the perfect life"  She loved her husband and children and was so happy  being a wife and mother. We will miss you Kimberly, and we will see you again someday,  Love , all of us.
